UI Health Alliance Focuses on Improving Health
Fifty-eight hospitals and more than 175 clinics and thousands of physicians are represented by UI Health Alliance (UIHA). UIHA is comprised of five member organizations:

Genesis Health System: Based in Davenport and includes four hospitals in Iowa and the Genesis Health Group with more than 160 physicians

Mercy-Cedar Rapids: Serves the eastern Iowa corridor and includes Mercy Medical Center and a network of 13 family practice clinics and four specialty clinics

Mercy Health Network: A statewide system comprised of 41 hospitals and 142 physician clinics with 625 physicians; this includes hospitals affiliated with Catholic Health Initiatives and CHE Trinity Health of Livonia, Mich.

University of Iowa Health Care: Iowa's only comprehensive medical center that includes the state's largest multi-specialty physician group practice with more than 1,400 providers

Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare — Iowa: Includes three hospitals and 130 primary care and specialty providers in Northeast Iowa
In addition, CoOportunity Health has contracted with other facilties, clinics and practitioners in select Iowa counties to provide additional in-network options for CoOportunity Choice UI Health Alliance and CoOportunity Preferred UI Health Alliance. With these additional providers, 60 hospitals and more than 11,500 primary care clinicians, specialists and other practitioners are available at the lowest out-of-pocket costs.
Save on Your Out-of-Pocket Costs
To get the greatest value from your health insurance benefits, it is important that you choose to receive care from UI Health Alliance member organizations and the additional contracting providers.
With CoOportunity Choice UI Health Alliance, your out-of-pocket costs are the lowest when choosing Tier 1 providers, which include providers from the five UI Health Alliance member organizations.
Although you do have benefits when you receive care from Tier 2 and from out-of-network providers, your out-of-pocket costs are higher and you will have a separate deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
With CoOportunity Preferred UI Health Alliance, you only have benefits when you receive care from providers that participates in CoOportunity Preferred. There are no out-of- network benefits except for emergencies.
